End of the first week of school

So my mom is getting remarried and we're going to Hawaii for 10 days. We leave September 8th and then get back September 18th. As far as my hands on classes go, that's fine. My teacher is cool with it and it should be no problem to catch up. Now as far as my online Anatomy and physiology class goes...

So today I emailed my teacher for A and P. And I basically said, hey, my mom's getting remarried...we're going to hawaii...is there a way I could take my tests and turn in my assignments that are due when I'm gone before I leave. nice, on my part. I'm giving him a week's notice and doing my part to make sure I get the work done. He emails me back and goes, "I am unable to release the tests and assignments before the due dates."

AND THAT WAS IT! So I emailed him back and said, so does that mean I won't be able to take the tests at all? Could I take them after I get back?

He still hasn't answered! What a jerk! I could have just blown it off but I want to get a good grade and he isn't even willing to help me! ARG!

In other news: We bought a house this week! eeeeek! It's a lovely house in maplewood and I'm excited!

now I'm sleepy, closing from 12-9:30 is getting old.

I don't know how I feel about being back in school right now. Until my schedule becomes more normal and regular it probably will just stress me out. And my anatomy and physiology class is just going to make my life miserable this semester. bleh.

1st day of school

Well, I'm sitting here at school waiting for my first class to start. I feel like I didn't even really have a summer. like, it was nice to just have a couple months break from the cold but suddenly it seems to be getting just a little bit colder and the days are getting just a little bit shorter...I love fall but I really didn't need it to come this fast.

I'm only taking 3 classes this fall and then I should be done with Massage therapy. Then I need to decide if I for sure want to do the esthetition certificate or not. I really want to and I think that I really should but it's just one more semester of school that I need to do... bleh. At least I'll be done with school at the same time as the rest of my class. (for the most part)

Well, I should probably go into class, Alex, good luck at Morris. (You should burn my those cds! haha) Ruth, have fun speaking spanish!

I had lots of fun tonight!

I spent tonight with Ruth and Alex. Yay! I'll be honest and say that when I got home from work I was kinda like, I don't wanna leave the house, I'm tired! But I really wanted to see you both and I wanted to have fun. I'm so glad we got a chance to do this again this summer. I feel like we always have good conversations.

I think it's great that we watched Animaniacs. Lately, I've been really interested in watching shows that I watched as a kid and stuff like the Batman Animated Series (mainly because I loved that show and I just saw The Dark Knight a couple weeks ago) So seeing the Animaniacs tonight was awesome.

I'm going to try and write in this more. I think it'll be a good way to blow some steam if I have it. I'm going to be so tired tomorrow. Oh well. It's not like it'll be new.

I got a new purse tonight. YAY

I do believe in fairies, I Do I Do!

So my brother searched for my name the other day, Kelsey Ober, not Kelsey LaValle, and up came a post that I wrote in January of 2004 that talked about how I wasn't going to say Alex Korn's name anymore, that he would be referred to as Mister Red Head. ummm...reading some of my old posts makes me feel like I was slightly immature. which I was... but it's slightly embarrassing. And then you read stuff that were totally inside jokes and i'm sure were incredibly funny at the time but aren't now or you have no idea what they mean. Like the aforementioned I do believe in fairies, I Do I do. I know that sounds incredibly familiar but I can't remember what it's from. Any ideas?

In other news, we (john and I) are currently living with my mother, in the basement, until we are able to close on our house (!) I'm so excited even though we'll be kinda poor for the next 9 months. It's going pretty well. We transitioned Moose into staying outside all day on a lead which is also going really well.

My birthday is on Saturday and I'm very excited. I'm also really excited for our little get together that we still don't know what we're doing for. How about going to the MOA? I haven't been there in awhile at least not really there. Maybe we could go to underwater world or something.
